Helping Neurodivergent (and/or Anxious) Kids Transition to High School

This free webinar is intended for parents (and caregivers) of students transitioning from elementary to high school, and it is especially geared towards parents of neurodivergent kids, or kids with anxiety.

While this webinar has a specific focus, all who are interested are welcome to attend.

Our goal is to help you prepare your child for some of the challenges they will be facing as they transition to high school.

We will be addressing issues such as:

  • Some key differences between elementary and high school and how to help your child prepare for these changes.
  • How neurodivergence and anxiety might impact your child in the classroom, in their work, and in their social life.
  • The increased need for executive functioning skills for organizing, recording, and planning their work.
  • The increased need to be self-directed, and to self-advocate.
  • The changing roles for parents and for your child.

We will include practical tips. The session will conclude with a Q&A time.
