About Kole

Hi, I’m Kole. I’m a clinical psychology doctoral student born and raised in Kamloops, BC. I’m someone who’s naturally curious and really likes getting to know people. I care deeply about helping people make sense of who they are—especially when they feel stuck between who they’ve been and who they’re becoming. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, identity shifts, troubling relational patterns, shame, and trauma. In therapy, I aim to be steady, transparent, and gently challenging. I value honesty, humour, and holding space (forgive my chronically-online clichés). Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and centred on building a more authentic and intentional life—I’m on this journey with you.

I work with individuals and couples facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, identity and relationship concerns, and questions around gender or sexuality. I have experience supporting queer and gender-diverse youth and young adults, as well as older adults. My approach is warm, flexible, and grounded in person-centred, relational, emotion-focused, and trauma-informed practices.

What would Kole be doing if he did not pursue the career path he has now?

Oh, I would for sure be working on a goat farm offering goat yoga (if you haven’t tried it you must).

How does Kole relax when he is outside of work?

Definitely a sucker for the following: cool cafés, breweries, running, cold plunges, weird movies, used bookstores, camping, and reality tv.

What does Kole consider to be the most important value?

I really value authenticity, which, to me, is the continuous opportunity each of us are given to live in alignment with who we really are. I believe this often involves us facing the scary or uncertain thing in the room, and I also believe that people contain within themselves the courage to do that. I see authenticity as something we uncover and lean into overtime.
