About Aina
I am a third-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Adler University, and my training includes psychotherapy and assessment. I chose this field because I value understanding people and supporting their capacity for resilience. Before moving to Vancouver, I completed my studies in psychology and counselling in Barcelona. I draw on cognitive-behavioural and humanistic approaches, as well as other therapeutic modalities, to support clients.
In my clinical work, I aim to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered. My primary areas of focus include anxiety and depression, trauma and post-traumatic stress, relationship and couples issues, sexual health and intimacy concerns, and life transitions. I work from humanistic and client-centred foundations, integrating cognitive-behavioural and trauma-focused approaches.
