Why Our Adult ADHD Assessments Are Different
When it comes to ADHD testing, being thorough matters. ADHD can look very similar to other conditions like anxiety, depression, autism or even sleep issues, and rushing the process can lead to the wrong diagnosis.
Our approach is designed to get it right. To do this our assessments include:
- Validated psycho-diagnostic testing: including structured clinical interviews, observer questionnaires, empirically validated self-report measures, and objective cognitive testing.
- Screening for comorbidities: ADHD rarely stands alone. We assess for other conditions such as anxiety, depression, and autism that can overlap or complicate the picture.
- Ruling out look-alikes: We make sure symptoms aren’t caused by something else that can mimic ADHD.
- Clear answers, either way: Knowing you don’t have ADHD is just as important as knowing you do. Our assessments provide clarity so treatment can target the right issue.
Our Approach To Pricing
We believe in keeping our pricing simple, fair, and transparent. The cost of each assessment is based on the actual time and materials required, not on marketing gimmicks or numbers ending in “.99.”
Because we feel strongly that testing should only be done when it’s needed, we’ve designed our process to be as cost-effective as possible. If you begin with a screening and go on to complete an assessment with us, the cost of your screening will be deducted from your assessment.
We also make use of secure technology where appropriate, allowing you to complete certain empirically validated measures from home.
This helps reduce both cost and time, while still ensuring you receive the most thorough and reliable results.
Coverage and Accessibility
Our assessments are provided under the guidance and supervision of Registered Psychologists, which means that if your extended health plan covers psychological services, your ADHD assessment may be partially or fully reimbursable.
We offer assessments remotely throughout British Columbia, so you can access care wherever you are. If coming in person for any part of the testing is preferred, we are able to see you at our clinic here in Ladner, BC.
Take The Next Step
If you’ve been wondering about ADHD, getting a clear and reliable answer is one of the best steps you can take. Whether the outcome is ADHD or something else, our comprehensive testing will give you clarity, direction, and peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is information needed before the intake appointment?
We understand that extra communication and paperwork before a first appointment isn’t everyone’s idea of a fun time. Our goal is to make sure that we can provide you with the testing and associated materials provided that you need, in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. If you can help us out by getting us the information we need ahead of time, we will do our part in ensuring we’re the right fit and getting you through an assessment as smoothly as possible.
Can I sign the forms for my young adult?
If the client is 19 years of age or older, we require them to sign the releases of information and/or consent forms themselves – parents cannot sign for them.
How does payment for screening work?
If you choose to start with screening, you can click the button above and pay online. Once payment is processed, you will automatically be directed to the page to start your screening. Our system will notify us of your payment and we will manually generate an invoice for you as soon as possible and send it to you by email. If you continue with an assessment, we will deduct the screening cost from your assessment cost.
How does payment for assessments work?
The client will pay 50% of the assessment cost prior to booking the assessment appointments and pay the remaining 50% of the assessment cost on the date of the debrief appointment. Each deposit will be held in trust, and payments will be processed as laid out from the credit. The first 50% deposit will cover file review, the intake appointment, and testing appointments, and the second 50% deposit will cover the debrief appointment and report writing fees. We will not produce a final report until all fees are paid in full. Please note: if a Third Party agrees to pay for a client’s assessment, we require 100% payment from them before booking the intake appointment.
What will my receipt(s) look like?
The client will receive receipts for each individual assessment appointment and component, not for the 50% payments. Each receipt will state ‘Psychological Services’, as well as the price per hour. We are unable to adjust any of these dates for insurance or other purposes. All receipts will be listed under the client’s name.We are unable to adjust the name of the client on the receipts.
Will my benefits cover the assessment?
Fees for a psychological assessment are not covered by the Medical Services Plan of B.C. If you have extended health benefits that cover psychological assessments, you may be able to submit for reimbursement of the fees to the extent that your plan covers. It is your responsibility to inquire about this with your benefits provider. We are unable to advise you of your coverage, we cannot direct bill your provider, and we are not liable if coverage is refused. If you’re relying on insurance coverage, please contact your insurance company prior to engaging in working with us if you have any questions about your coverage.
What happens if my claim is denied?
Please attempt to submit your claim to your insurance provider before asking our team for modifications to your receipt(s). We are unable to adjust appointment dates, payment dates, or client names on the receipts, so we recommend submitting the claim before asking for adjustments. If the claim is denied, please ask for an explanation of why the claim was denied from your provider and contact our team with this reasoning. We will try our best to assist you while keeping with ethical guidelines; however, we are not liable if coverage is refused.
