Interested in starting off this New Year with some community support?
Throughout the year we have been collecting donated knitted items to give to Azure Place – Delta Transition House, a transition house for women and children fleeing violence. It is located in Delta in an unidentified location and provides a safe home environment for women and their families who need a short-term place to stay during a time of crisis in their life.
Join us on January 10th to help collect and wrap community knitting donations and create some beautiful cards!
Donations of handmade knitting and crochet items are still welcome, as are gift cards to local grocery stores.
Date and Times: January 10th, 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
Location: Held in the art studio of our Ladner location, at #203-4840 Delta Street.
Fee: By donation, all proceeds going to the Step Forward Program. Registration is required.
