Associate, Occupational Therapist
Wendy Meades is an Occupational Therapist and an artist. She trained as an OT at McMaster University and also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. She has worked for over 20 years as on OT in a variety of settings including Sunny Hill Health Centre on the school care team, hearing and vision programs and the positioning and mobility teams. She has also worked at the Centre for Child Development in the Surrey Schools as well as Langley Home Care. Wendy is registered with the BC College of Occupational Therapists and she believes in creative approaches and therapy that is fun.
Wendy is also a visual artist. She has a continuing education certificate from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. She has run vision board sessions for adults, Professional Development sessions for teachers and has taught art classes in schools in Delta and Burnaby. She believes that everyone has the ability to be creative and helps others to create art from the heart. In her spare time, you can find Wendy painting, and creating messes with her two girls as well as spending time outdoors at the beach.
