Online Drop-In Mindfulness Group
A free online mindfulness group, with the ability to drop in as needed!
Mindfulness is the practice of tuning into the present moment, rather than being swept away by thoughts about the future or the past. By practicing mindfulness, we change the wiring of our brains, giving us more of an opportunity to choose where our thoughts go, and to have more control over our reactions.
Each week, an Advanced Counselling Intern will guide the group through experiential mindfulness practices and will offer strategies to build mindfulness into our every day lives. Ages 18+.
Dates: On Mondays at 12:30 – 1:15PM, starting January 24, 2022. No group February 21 for Family Day.
Location: Held online, via Zoom.
Cost: Free! If you are in the position to, please consider a donation to our Step Forward Program for community members in dire financial need.
